ONPE Announces Order of 46 Groupings on Electoral Ballot for ERM 2026
The National Office of Electoral Processes has determined the order of the 46 political organizations on the electoral ballot for the Regional and Municipal Elections 2026
The National Office of Electoral Processes (ONPE) has conducted a draw to determine the order of the 46 political organizations that will appear on the electoral ballot for the Regional and Municipal Elections 2026. The draw, which was supervised by a notary public and attended by officials from the electoral body, established the position of each organization on the ballot.
## Order of the 46 Political Organizations The result of the draw placed Alianza Para el Progreso in the first position, while Partido Político ADP was placed in the 46th position. The order of the organizations will be used to establish the layout of the electoral ballot, although it may be subject to changes due to decisions made by the National Jury of Elections (JNE).

## Electoral Ballot Layout The electoral ballot will have two blocks: one for political parties and one for regional movements. The block for political parties will be located at the top of the ballot, while the block for regional movements will be located at the bottom.
## Potential Changes to the Electoral Ballot Although the draw has established the initial order of the organizations, the final layout of the electoral ballot may be subject to changes due to decisions made by the JNE. If a candidacy is excluded, withdrawn, or fails to obtain registration, the organization will no longer appear on the ballot, and the space will be occupied by the next organization in the established order.
The Regional and Municipal Elections 2026 are scheduled to take place on October 4, when citizens will go to the polls to elect their regional and municipal authorities.
